UNMAM.ART is the University of New Mexico Art Museum’s platform for artist/student collaboration. It is an experimental online museum space where UNM students and faculty across disciplines can connect, create, and learn without the usual conventions. What happened in Seminar?
Rose B. Simpson: Seminar was a six-week intensive museum program only available to UNM students. Over 170 students and 10 faculty from across disciplines participated, resulting in personal, back-and-forth conversations and collaboration between the artist and UNM’s community of students. The platform received 125 student replies to Rose, some written, some recorded, and some art. In total students spent over 100 collective hours exploring the platform. Read more.
